Masterclass Al-Andalus participants must bring works from the following categories FULLY PREPARED FOR PUBLIC PERFORMANCE UPON ARRIVAL:

*Two short work on a Spanish Theme
(Suggested list of repertoire, but other works may be chosen):
-
Sarasate: Carmen Fantasy, or any of the many Spanish Dances or Spanish-themed pieces.
Falla: Suite Populaire Espagnole
Kreisler: Danse Española
Kreisler "La Gitana"
Kreisler: Any Spanish-themed work
Granados: Andaluza (Spanish Dance #5) 
Granados: Sonata for Violin and Piano
Granados:Three Preludes for Violin and Piano
Ole Bull: La Verbena de San Juan (Spanish Fantasy)
Waxman: Carmen Fantasy
Tarrega/Ricci: Recuerdos de la Alhambra

*At least one movement of a major concerto from the Classical or Romantic eras

*At least two contrasting movements of unaccompanied Bach
or an unaccompanied sonata of Ysaÿe
-
*One short "stylistic character piece"

Any piece of participant's choice

*In addition, participants may choose to bring any other repertoire (Sonatas) of their choosing for the "mixed repertoire" masterclass.
